SoulVi
Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)
Effective date: July 2026 · Version 1.0
Our Commitment: SoulVi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming, or any content or behavior that endangers minors. This policy applies to every part of the platform — profiles, photos, messages, calls, and any other feature that lets users interact with one another.
SoulVi is an 18-and-over platform. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create or hold an account, and we do not knowingly facilitate any interaction involving a minor.
1. Prevention
- Mandatory date-of-birth gate at signup. Every account must declare a date of birth during onboarding; anyone under 18 is blocked from completing registration.
- Mandatory identity verification. Every account must complete live-selfie face verification before it can appear to other users in Discovery. Unverified profiles are never shown.
- No anonymous browsing of minors' data. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data belonging to anyone under 18 (see our Privacy Policy, "Children's Data").
2. Detection & Reporting Tools
- In-app reporting on every profile. Users can report any profile directly, with a dedicated "underage" category alongside inappropriate content, fake profile, harassment, and spam — routed immediately to our moderation queue.
- Blocking. Any user can block another instantly, ending all shared conversations.
- Every report and moderation action is logged immutably for audit and, where legally required, law enforcement cooperation.
3. Enforcement
- Reports flagged as involving a minor, CSAM, or grooming are treated as the highest priority in our moderation queue.
- Confirmed violations result in immediate, permanent account termination and forfeiture of access — no warning period, no appeal for CSAE-category violations.
- We preserve relevant account data (subject to legal process) when a report indicates a minor may be involved, rather than allowing standard deletion timelines to apply.
4. Reporting to Authorities & Legal Compliance
Where SoulVi identifies apparent CSAM or child exploitation on the platform, we will:
- Remove the content and terminate the responsible account(s) immediately.
- Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline where applicable under U.S. law, and to the relevant law enforcement authorities in India and any other jurisdiction where required.
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, preserving evidence under lawful request in accordance with applicable laws.
5. How to Report a Concern to SoulVi
- In-app: Tap Report on any profile or message and select the "Underage / Minor Concern" or "Inappropriate Content" reason for immediate high-priority triage.
